 After all this time, the Digidestined have finally come home.
They don't have much time to enjoy home though as they discover evil Digimon suddenly appearing out of nowhere. The barrier between the two worlds is weakening, allowing Mammothmon to rampage throughout town.
After the battle, they start to realize the common thread that links them all, they all witnessed a Digimon attack at Heighton View Terrace.

 Just because they've returned to their dimension doesn't mean they're home. The Digidestined are back, but broke. How are they going to get home with no money? When Digimon are involved, even a simple trip home can turn into a life and death battle.

 The Digidestined try to find the 8th Digidestined before Myotismon. Tai briefly thinks it might be his sister, Kari, but immediately discounts it.
Raremon attacks and Izzy and Kabuterimon are the only ones who can stop him. They also run into DemiDevimon, who is also trying to find the 8th Digidestined.
When Izzy gets home, he starts to suspect his parents are hiding a secret from him.

 Gatomon finds Kari, who may or may not be the 8th Digidestined. For some reason, Gatmon can't seem to bring herself to hurt the little girl.
Meanwhile the rest of the Digidestined scour the city to find the 8th Digidestined. Mimi, Sora and Tai end up running into a fiery battle on top of Tokyo Tower.
